Adventure Day.
On Sunday 19th September 2021, 10 boys and Officers went to the North West District Training & Activity Centre for a fun packed day of adventure.
The day started off by Parents taking the boys to the District Centre, and after a brief introduction the boys split into two groups for a taster session of Archery and Climbing. Some of the boys showed some natural talent for archery and climbing, and one boy was left hanging around on the wall for a few minutes. After a BBQ lunch, Coaches from The Boys Brigade Canoe Club took the boys for an afternoon on the water at a local canal in Canoes. The boys had a really good time paddling around and watching the Senior boy, go for an accidental swim at the start of the session. He shall now by called Commodore Tom. Some boys, not wanting Tom to have all the fun decided they too would like to get wet at the end of the canoe session. Showers back at the centre before a session in the purpose built cave system, before Parents returned to collect some tired little boys. Photographs are on the Gallery Page.
