BBCC Youth Hostel Weekend.
Boys` Brigade Archery Club.
The Boys` Brigade Archery Club is held at The Northwest District Training Centre, Carr Lane, Treales, Kirkham. PR4 3SS.
We meet approximately every six weeks on a Sunday afternoon from 2pm until 4pm and costs £5.00 per person.
The club is open to all Junior Section Boys, Company and Seniors as well as officers, who may wish to become future Archery Instructors.
The sessions are run by BB Officers who are Qualified Instructors who will take you through from being a beginner to a competant archer, enabling you to enter the District Archery Competition normally held in April.

What is D of E all about:
The Duke of Edinburgh award programme is a real adventure from beginning to the end. It doesn`t matter who you are, or where your from. You just need to be aged 14 to 24 and realise there`s more to life than sitting on a sofa watching life pass you by.
Levels:
You can do programmes at three levels, which when completed, lead to Bronze, Silver or Gold, Duke of Edinburgh Award.
Sections:
You can achieve your award by completing a personal programme of activities in four sections - Volunteering, Physical, Skills, Expedition. You`ll find yourself helping people in the community, getting fitter, developing skills, going on expedition.
The best bit is - you choose what to do.
Your programme can be full of activities and projects that get you buzzing, and along the way you`ll pick up experiences, friends and talents that will stay with you for the rest of your life.
If you want to take part in The Duke of Edinburgh Award, ask your Company Captain for details.

Subscriptions for 2024/2025
Subscriptions for the year can be paid in one lump sum of £54.00, in September or by paying three instalements of £22.00. Payment are due on Thursday 19th September 2024, Thursday 9th January 2025, Thursday 10th April 2025. Any boys joining the Company, may pay weekly subs of £2.00 until Parents feel happy that the new recruit is going to stay in the Company and can then join in the paying of instalements. If any one has any concerns, please speak to The Company Captain. . |
Uniform Regulations.
Anchor Boys
Boys aged 5 to 8 years, wear a red jersey with black trousers, dark coloured socks and polished shoes, along with arm band and badges worn on the right arm.
Junior Section Boys.
Boys aged 8 to 11 years, wear a royal blue jersey with black trousers, dark coloured socks and polished black shoes, along with arm band and badges worn on the right arm.
Company Section Boys.
Boys aged 11 to 14 years of age, wear a formal blue shirt with a BB emblem, a BB tie, black belt with a chrome BB buckle, dark coloured socks, black polished shoes, along with arm bands and badges worn on the right and left arm, and a BB hat with badge and red surround.
Senior Boys.
Boys aged 15 to 18 years of age, wear the same uniform as the company section boys except for the tie and cap badge. Seniors wear a senior section tie and a blue hat surround.
All uniforms can be purchased from BBHQ via The Company Captain, or we have a selection of used uniforms listed below.
